Venue Requirements 

Rugby Ontario recognizes the significant safety and welfare benefits of having a wide range of on-site medical equipment, such as Portable Resuscitation Devices and others listed by the IRB in the Guidelines (Medical Facilities) and strongly recommend that they be available where rugby is played in the province. 

Memorandum - Concussion

Rugby Ontario takes the welfare of players very seriously in keeping with its mission to promote, develop and administer the playing of rugby under safe conditions.  Concussion is an important player welfare concern and the IRB have created guidelines for the diagnosis, management and graduated return to play of players who have suffered concussion.
