What Is NCCP?
The National Coaching Certification Program was developed by the Coaches Association of Canada and its partners, and is the recognized standard for coach training and certification in Canada.
NCCP workshops are designed to meet the needs of all types of coaches, from first-time community coaches to the head coaches of national teams. Since the program began, more than a million coaches have participated in some sort of NCCP training, making it one of the largest adult education programs in Canada.

How Do I Register for a NCCP Course?
Registration for all courses will be done through coach.rugbycanada.ca.
If you are not sure what course is right for you, please check out the NCCP Coaching Pathway.
If you have any questions regarding this process, please email Rugby Development Manager Greg Haley-Williams.
I have foreign coaching certificates, are these equivalent to NCCP?
Rugby Canada has relationships with all rugby unions and have made agreements as to which courses are equivalent to NCCP. Even if you have completed courses in foreign unions, you may be required to complete some Canadian requirements, such as Making Ethical Decisions and Safe Rugby, in order to have your certification fully approved.
To have your foreign coaching certificate approved for equivalency, please send a scanned copy of the certificate to Rugby Development Manager Greg Haley-Williams, who will work with you to complete the process.
