Overview
“Highway to High Performance” program is designed to develop 16 Rugby Sevens Ontario High Performance Coaches whose responsibility will be to expand the talent pool of 16 year old male and female Ontario athletes by holding talent identification camps in regional centres then ultimately selecting the best Ontario athletes to high performance academy teams that will compete at 2012 Ontario Summer Games and begin their pathway towards 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto and 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Timeline
This is the timeline for the first Phase of the Highway to High Performance Program starting in August 2011. This is designed to provide prospective managers, coaches and officials with an outline of the time commitment involved in the program. Many costs and expenses are covered including and honourium that can be discussed with successful candidates.
Expenses include; flights to specific development events, accommodation costs for specific events, travel allowance to specific events, equipment to run Talent ID camps, facility costs, meals at specific events, and some specific kit.

5. Athletes attending the camp will complete an online survey for feedback on camps
6. RO TD to evaluate how the regional camps were run via coach and player reporting
7. Coaches are to supply Academy session plans to RO TD including completed periodization season plan, venues, time, additional IST and on going testing schedule
