We would like to thank all who joined us this past Saturday on Parliament Hill for Touch Rugby! 

We were 56 strong, young and not so much, and played for 90 minutes in the rain, pausing to remember Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, and all those who currently serve in the Canadian Armed Forces here in Ottawa and across the country, we are forever appreciative of your service. 

Thank you all for your generous donations, thus far we have raised $825 for the Military Families Fund / Support our Troops and are expecting more donations to follow. 

Thanks goes to all the clubs represented, players from the Ottawa Irish, Ottawa Beavers & Banshees, Kingston Panthers, Bytown Blues, Ottawa Indians, Brockville Privateers, Barrhaven Scottish, Lanark Highlanders, Cornwall Crusaders, Gatineau, Ottawa Wolves, Ottawa Senators Old Boys, as well as players from Ottawa U, Carleton U, Algonquin College, and special thanks to Al Charron from Rugby Canada and former National 7's team player Rob Turk (Rugby Canada Alumni) for their on-going support of this initiatives.
