It is with extreme sadness that Rugby Ontario reports on the passing of George Eliadis and Shari Williams. This passing touches the rugby community dearly, as Eliadis' son Robert is a member of the Oshawa Vikings Rugby Club and also participates in the Ontario Junior Blues provincial program with the Under 18 program.

George Eliadis was a Deputy Commander at the Toronto Paramedic Services. Shari Williams was a longtime member of the Durham Boxing Academy.

On behalf of the entire Rugby Ontario community, we express our condolences to the Eliadis and Williams family in this time of grieving.

Visitation times for George and Shari Williams are Thursday, July 20 at 5:00pm-9:00pm and Friday, July 21 at 10:00am-12:30pm. The funeral service will be held on July 21 from 12:30-1:30pm. Both the visitation and the funeral service will be at the chapel at Pine Hills Cemetery. (Birchmount and St. Clair, Scarborough ON)
