Ontario Blues Senior Women Announce 2018 Open Talent ID Sessions

The Ontario Blues Senior Women's provincial rugby program has announced its open talent ID sessions for the 2018 campaign. The Blues will be competing at the Canadian Rugby Championship on July 17-22 in Saskatchewan.

These sessions will be open to all registered senior women's rugby players in Ontario who are eligible to play for Canada under World Rugby regulations.

The Blues coaching staff requests athletes bring rugby attire appropriate to a full contact training session, water and a $25 registration fee.

Indoor Sessions - Whitby Dome (695 Rossland Rd. West Whitby, ON)

  • Saturday February 3, 2018: 9am-12pm - taping starts at 8am
  • Sunday March 4, 2018: 9am-12pm - taping starts at 8am

Outdoor Sessions - Mentor College (40 Forest Avenue Mississauga, ON)

  • Sunday April 8, 2018: 9:30am-12pm - taping starts at 8:30am
  • Sunday April 22, 2018: 9:30am-12pm - taping starts at 8:30am
  • Sunday April 29, 2018: 9:30am-12pm - taping starts at 8:30am *FINAL Open Talent ID Session & Intersquad*

All athletes are to confirm their attendance for all dates with Manager Val Swift (valswift@sympatico.ca). It is important that you contact us if you are unable to attend the session.

ABOUT THE ONTARIO BLUES

The Ontario Blues program is the high performance representative program for male and female rugby players in Ontario. Rugby Ontario is represented at the provincial level by the Ontario Blues. The program includes representative teams from Under-15 to Senior in both Women’s and Men’s Fifteens and Under-18 Men's and Women's Sevens. Specifically, the program is designed to develop and showcase rugby players for Canadian representative national teams.
