Rugby vs. Cancer is a new initiative put together by the Brantford Harlequins' Cam McArthur and looks to raise awareness and raise funds for cancer research.

The concept of Rugby vs. Cancer is to have 'Games of the Week' in which a club, high school or university team will wear a 'Rugby vs. Cancer' kit and turn their home match into a cancer fundraiser.
On their Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser page, Rugby vs. Cancer explains the concept of the initiative:

"We are taking action to change the future of this disease for our friends, our families and Canadians nationwide."

The first Rugby vs. Cancer match takes place this Saturday, as the Crusaders Senior Men will be sporting the pink and black kit against the Brantford Harlequins and raising money for cancer research. The game is set for 3:00pm ET at Crusader Park in Oakville.

If you would like to host a Rugby vs. Cancer game, please contact Cam McArthur at cm.harlequins@rogers.com.
