Canadian Rugby Championship Day 4 Recap

(Saskatoon SK) There was one game on the docket for Day 4 of the Canadian Rugby Championship as the Ontario Senior Women took on the Prairie Wolfpack.

After dropping their opener, The Ontario Blues Senior Women were primed to have a strong showing against the Pack. The Senior Women went down 14-0 early in the first half but with perseverance and scores from Arielle Dubissette-Borrice and Sara Svoboda, they cut down the Wolfpack lead to 17-12 by half time. The Senior Women battled back to tie the game with a try from Emily Barber after constant pressure in the Wolfpack 22. Both teams put on a defensive clinic in the final 15 minutes of the game, but the Wolfpack ultimately struck late with no time on the clock to secure the win. The Ontario Blues are now 0-2 and are looking for a win over rivals BC in their next matchup on Saturday.
