(WHITBY, ON) - Rugby Ontario is pleased to announce the 2018 Rugby Ontario Provincial Award winners.
Senior Provincial Player of the Year (Female) – Veronica Harrigan (London St. George’s)
Senior Provincial Player of the Year (Male) – Marcello Wainwright (Toronto Scottish)
Junior Provincial Player of the Year (Female) – Natalie Armatage (Waterloo County)
Junior Provincial Player of the Year (Male) – Brock Webster (Oshawa Vikings)
Senior Club Player of the Year (Female) – Emily Samek (Guelph Redcoats)
Senior Club Player of the Year (Male) – Cameron Hogg (Burlington Centaurs)
Club Coach of the Year (Female) – Kailyn Jones (Crusaders)
Club Coach of the Year (Male) – Nick Daniels (Aurora Barbarians)
Junior Club Program of the Year (Female) – Barrie RFC
Junior Club Program of the Year (Male) – Crusaders RC
Minor Club Program of the Year – Cobourg Saxons RFC
Volunteer of the Year – Andrew Davies (Barrie)
Senior Match Official of the Year – Steve Gasparek
Junior Match Official of the Year – Jake White
The 2018 Rugby Ontario Annual Award winners will be honoured at the Rugby Ontario Awards Ceremony and Dinner in Mississauga, Ont., on the evening of Saturday, November 24, 2018. The ceremony will be held at the Maple Banquet Hall in conjunction with the Rugby Ontario Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

ABOUT THE ONTARIO BLUES
The Ontario Blues program is the high performance representative program for male and female rugby players in Ontario. Rugby Ontario is represented at the provincial level by the Ontario Blues. The program includes representative teams from Under-15 to Senior in both Women’s and Men’s Fifteens and Under-18 Men's and Women's Sevens. Specifically, the program is designed to develop and showcase rugby players for Canadian representative national teams.
