(WHITBY, ON) - Rugby Ontario is pleased to announce the 2019 Rugby Ontario Provincial Award winners.
Senior Provincial Player of the Year (Female) – Lori Josephson (Guelph Redcoats)
Senior Provincial Player of the Year (Male) – Mitch Voralek (Waterloo County)
Junior Provincial Player of the Year (Female) – Elizabeth Gibson (Crusaders)
Junior Provincial Player of the Year (Male) – Liam Bowman (Crusaders)
Senior Club Player of the Year (Female) – Kellee Smith (Belleville Bulldogs)
Senior Club Player of the Year (Male) – Johnny Sheridan (Markham Irish)
Club Coach of the Year (Female) – Kailyn Jones (Brantford Harlequins)
Club Coach of the Year (Male) – Aaron McDonald (Barrhaven Scottish)
Junior Club Program of the Year (Female) – Toronto City RFC
Junior Club Program of the Year (Male) – Burlington Centaurs RC
Minor Club Program of the Year – Owen Sound RFC
Volunteer of the Year – Jason Howard (London St George’s)
Senior Match Official of the Year – Talal “Moe” Chaudhry
Junior Match Official of the Year – James Neale
The 2019 Rugby Ontario Annual Award winners will be honoured at the Rugby Ontario Awards Ceremony and Dinner in Mississauga, Ont., on the evening of Saturday, November 23, 2019.The ceremony will be held at the Maple Banquet Hall in conjunction with the Rugby Ontario Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
For guests that wish to attend the dinner, tickets can be purchased, either individually for $100 or in tables of 8 or 10 ($95 per person) online. Please click here through this link.
When purchasing tickets, please indicate any group you wish to be seated with. We can then ensure all guests are seated together where requested.
Rugby Ontario also has an accommodation arrangement for Saturday November 23 at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn. This arrangement, which is available until Thursday 24 October can be accessed through this link.

ABOUT THE ONTARIO BLUES
The Ontario Blues program is the high performance representative program for male and female rugby players in Ontario. Rugby Ontario is represented at the provincial level by the Ontario Blues. The program includes representative teams from Under-15 to Senior in both Women’s and Men’s Fifteens and Under-18 Men's and Women's Sevens. Specifically, the program is designed to develop and showcase rugby players for Canadian representative national teams.
