Announcement: Join The Rugby Ontario Supporter Club

(WHITBY, ON) - Rugby Ontario is pleased to announce the launch of the Rugby Ontario Supporter Club – a community appeal campaign to generate support for the sport of rugby in Ontario.
The resulting impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on rugby programming, including the indefinite suspension of sanctioned rugby activities across Canada, has brought about unprecedented financial and administrative constraints at all levels of the sport. The Rugby Ontario Supporter Club is a new membership category and crowdfunding initiative for rugby participants and enthusiasts to #KeepRugbyAlive and support the work of an organization solely devoted to facilitating the growth of rugby administering the sport across Ontario.
Rugby Ontario’s vision is to establish a stronger identity for the sport by promoting rugby’s core values and by fostering a culture of inclusiveness and excellence on and off the field of play. The Supporter Club is an opportunity for active community members and those with a connection to rugby to make a financial contribution towards supporting this vision and the future of rugby in Ontario. A club for all, the Rugby Ontario Supporter Club offers two (2) membership options at different price points, each extending unique benefits and incentives, including a Supporter Club T-shirt for all members, as well as a kickback to an Ontario Club (eligible membership only).

ABOUT THE ONTARIO BLUES
The Ontario Blues program is the high performance representative program for male and female rugby players in Ontario. Rugby Ontario is represented at the provincial level by the Ontario Blues. The program includes representative teams from Under-15 to Senior in both Women’s and Men’s Fifteens and Under-18 Men's and Women's Sevens. Specifically, the program is designed to develop and showcase rugby players for Canadian representative national teams.
