National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th, 2021

(WHITBY, ON) - Today, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the children that were lost and the survivors of residential schools. It is also about continuing the reconciliation process by acknowledging the tragic impact of residential schools and the impact it continues to have.

We encourage everyone to wear orange to raise awareness of the painful legacy of residential schools, and to honour the thousands of Survivors.
