Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship

(WHITBY, ON) - The Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship will take place in Victoria, BC from Wednesday, November 30th - Sunday December 4th. The event will feature the top eight Men’s University Rugby teams from across the country competing for the National Championship. The UBC Thunderbirds are the host team and the defending champions. 

The tournament will feature two Ontario schools, the 2022 OUA Champion Guelph Gryphons and the 2022 OUA Finalists the Laurier Golden Hawks. Guelph participated in the event last year in Kingston. For Laurier, this will be their first appearance at the tournament. Guelph will open the tournament taking on the Atlantic Canada Champions, the Memorial University Seahawks. For Laurier, they open their tournament against the RSQE champions, the McGill Redbirds.

5:00 PM ET Quarter Final 2 - #2 Guelph Gryphons vs #7 Memorial University Seahawks 

8:00 PM ET Quarter Final 3- #3 UBC Thunderbirds  vs #6 University of Calgary Dinos

10:30 PM Quarter Final 4 - #4 Laurier Golden Hawks vs #5 McGill Redbirds
