A Different Day Than We Expected
Well…Day 2 went differently than we thought.
Yesterday, we were revved up to see both the men and women from the Atlantic and BC face off, but Mother Nature had other plans. While we did see the women’s match, a thunderstorm put a halt to the men’s game. The match was rescheduled for July 22, at 12:15 pm.

The girls had a phenomenal defensive game and did exactly what we asked of them – the got up in the attacks face and put them under pressure the entire match! In our next match we want to see the girls be rewarded and finish their attacking opportunities to put some points on the board.”
“We made a lot of handling errors but many were from Atlantics commitment in defence.
Our set piece was good and something to build off of in our next few games. Always the challenge with any rep team is getting players to play to their individual strengths but within the game plan. We will need to show more patience with the ball on attack and get our tackle height right to repeat last year’s success.”
