Marshall Championship

The Marshall Championship is the second highest level of Senior Men’s Club Rugby in Ontario and is below the Premiership. This league competes in a 14-round robin format that leads into a 4-week post-season playoff for the McCormick and Fall Cups. The Marshall Championship is comprised of the Ajax Wanderers, Bytown Blues, Guelph RFC, Peterborough Pagans, Markham Irish Canadians, Niagara Rugby Club, Oshawa Vikings, and the Toronto Nomads.

McCormick Cup, Fall Cup and Gee-Gage Cup

The McCormick Cup is a long-standing tradition in Ontario rugby; a term synonymous with Rugby Ontario. The Cup is the title championship for the Marshall League. Participants and seeding are decided based on final standings from the Marshall Premiership & Championship regular seasons.
The Fall Cup is a post-season fall cup that will run in a bracket format alongside the McCormick Cup. Participants and seeding are decided based on final standings from the Marshall Premiership & Championship regular seasons.  More information to be announced soon.
The Gee Gage Cup is a 2XV post-season competition open to all Marshall 2XV Teams and Branch 1XV teams. More information to be announced soon.
The Intermediate Cup is a post-season knockout competition to determine the promotion pathway into the Marshall Championship. This bracket features the top teams from each of Rugby Ontario’s Branches (EORU, NRU, SWORU, TRU). More information to be announced soon.
