The U19 Ontario Blues program continues to generate high-level talent within the performance development stage of the pathway. This development program aims to select the top players aged 18 and 19 from the regional Interbranch competition to represent the Ontario at a national championship – the U19 Canadian Rugby Championship.
Player Identification
Talent Identification Combines are held for West, Central and East Regions. There are 150+ athletes identified for each region.

Canadian Rugby U19 Championships
The Canadian Rugby U19 Championships (CRC) is an annual event that provides young rugby players an opportunity to compete on the National Stage. 5 provincial teams from across the country participated in a week of rugby matches, culminating in a final championship game. This year’s games were hosted by Rugby Alberta.
The U19 Men’s team won the Championship – making them back to back winners of the event. The U19 Women’s team were finalists, placing second overall in the Championship.
