Quebec-Ontario Rugby Championship (QORC)

The Quebec Ontario Rugby Championship – an inter-provincial collaboration between Rugby Ontario and Rugby Quebec and led by Rugby Canada – is the pathway competition for Ontario’s senior women’s players. The Ontario Blues Senior Women’s program will provide meaningful competition and preparation for pathway players, scheduled prior to the Ontario club season. This competition will identify the top athletes representing Ontario for National Teams at the U20 and national senior levels.

QORC Finals

QORC is an inter-provincial rugby competition between the Ontario Blues and Rugby Québec. Each province is represented by an East and West team. The four teams compete to win the championship.

This year, the Ontario Blues – East team won the QORC Games, and the Ontario Blues – West team placed fourth.

Canada Summer Games

The Canada Games brings together more than 2,000 able-bodied athletes and athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities for the largest amateur multi-sport event in the country. The Games are hosted every two years, and alternate between Winter and Summer games in a similar fashion to the Olympics. The Canada Summer Games feature Rugby Sevens and the games were held from August 11-13.

The Canada Summer Games feature Rugby Sevens. Teams from 10 provinces and 1 territory competed. Team Ontario won Silver overall!
