The OWL Championship League is the second highest level of Senior Women’s Club Rugby in Ontario and is below the Premiership. The OWL Championship hosts 8 teams in geographical East and West pools, which compete over 10 rounds prior to playoffs vying for the OWL Championship Cup. The OWL Championship is compromised of the Ottawa Irish, Kingston Panthers, Belleville Bulldogs, Peterborough Pagans, Toronto Scottish, Burlington Centaurs, Waterloo County, and the London St. George’s.
The Intermediate Cup is a post-season knockout competition to determine the promotion/relegation pathway into the OWL Championship. This bracket features the top teams from each of Rugby Ontario’s Branches (EORU, NRU, SWORU, TRU) and the 4th seeded teams from the OWL Championship’s East and West pools.
