Bid to Host a 2026 Marquee Event!
We are thrilled to formally announce that bids to host our 2026 marquee events are open, providing YOU the opportunity to bring Rugby Ontario events to your club! There are numerous events available ranging from Youth Championships to the OWL Premiership Cup and McCormick Cup.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Expression of Interest Email (to nporcelli@rugbyontario.com): Sunday, January 11th, 2026
- Please note: the expression of interest email is not required, but is recommended.
- Event Bid Form Submission Deadline: Sunday, February 1st, 2026
- Rugby Ontario Review of Bids: Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 – Friday, February 13th, 2026
- Announcement of Host Clubs: Wednesday, February 25th, 2026
Additional Notes:
- Clubs are welcome to bid for multiple events.
- If your facilities don’t currently meet all event requirements, don’t worry! Equal consideration will be given to clubs that provide a development, strategic, or contingency plan to address any gaps.
- There is NO FEE to bid for an event.
There are specific specific requirements for each event, and we encourage clubs to review these requirements prior to submitting. Once you’ve reviewed the materials, you can submit your bid using the link provided at the bottom within each document.
