(WHITBY, ON) – Rugby Ontario is pleased to announce that the organization has appointed Vivian Lee as Club Services Coordinator and Sean Medeiros as High Performance Coordinator.
Vivian Lee returns to the Rugby Ontario office after completing a four-month High Performance Internship with the organization. She completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto and most recently, a post-graduate certificate in Sport Business Management from Durham College. Vivian has also worked as an Anti-Doping intern at the Toronto 2015 Pan-Am Games.
Lee’s club services responsibilities will see her deliver the Rugby Ontario registration and insurance program, coordinate the Rugby Ontario club membership registration process, and oversee tour sanctioning. Vivian will also be the staff ex-officio for the Discipline & Appeals Committee.
Previous Rugby Development and Club Services Coordinator, Safa Khan will now take a more focused role in development as Rugby Development Coordinator. As of today, if you have any member services inquiries, please contact Vivian Lee.
Medeiros is also no stranger to the Rugby Ontario office. Sean was previously a Partnerships Intern with Rugby Ontario in the summer of 2016. He then stayed on with the organization as a Competitions, Events and Marketing Administrator. Medeiros completed his Honours Bachelor of Sport Management at Brock University and is currently completing his Master of Arts in Sport Management at Brock.
Medeiros now takes on a full-time role working with and supporting all representative and high performance teams through planning and development. He joins David Butcher as the second member of Rugby Ontario’s high-performance team.
Lee and Medeiros officially began their roles with Rugby Ontario on April 24, 2017.
