Ryan Jones Accepts Rugby Canada's Rugby Development Manager Position
With mixed emotions, Rugby Ontario is announcing today that Ryan Jones will be leaving the organization to fill the Rugby Development Manager position with Rugby Canada, effective May 3, 2021.
Ryan has been an integral part of the Rugby Ontario office and Ontario rugby community since his appointment to the Rugby Development Coordinator position in 2017. Ryan’s portfolio with Rugby Ontario spanned many major area’s which benefitted all rugby clubs as well as the development of many new initiatives which will have a lasting legacy on the Ontario rugby community.
Similar to how our player pathways produce athletes for national team duties, our provincial office is proud to do the same on the administrative side. Ryan has made a major impact on our office environment and our community and he will be missed as he moves onto the next phase of his professional career.
“We wish Ryan well as he prepares to join Rugby Canada and continue leading the growth of rugby across the country,” said Myles Spencer, Rugby Ontario CEO. “On behalf of the entire Ontario rugby community, we would like to thank you Ryan for your commitment, hard work, and dedication to growing the game in Ontario.”
All messages sent to Ryan’s email will be redirected internally and will be responded to at the earliest opportunity by another member of staff.
