(WHITBY, ON) - In the lead up to the 2022 season, Rugby Ontario is launching a new social media campaign titled “Community Spotlight”. The goal of the campaign is to highlight the many unique events and programs that member clubs delivered during the 2021 season and showcase them on the Rugby Ontario social media accounts and website! Today’s spotlight is on the Fergus Highland RFC Minis Program!

Fergus Highland Rugby Mini's Season
What are the details of the program/event?
The 2021 Fergus Highland Rugby Mini's Division season was the highlight of the 2021 year! With 120 players registered across 4 age groups, we were able to provide players an amazing opportunity to learn or improve the game of Rugby. Having 60 players in the U6 & U8 division, a lot new to rugby, our coaches and many many volunteers came together to provide them with a fun, rewarding experience.
Who is responsible for running the program/event?
Fergus Highland Rugby Club, 2021 Minis Coordinators, Coaches and the amazing Highland Rugby Community Volunteers!
What was the goal of the program/event?
Introduce kids to the game of Rugby, develop their understanding of the game and teamwork, and most importantly have FUN!
