Rugby Ontario Fall 7s Series

(WHITBY, ON) – Rugby Ontario is pleased to announce the 2022 Fall 7s Series schedule. The series returns after a three-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The series will have two divisions, Elite and Club, competing on different days. Club Division tournaments will be held Sunday’s. Two Elite Division tournaments will take place on Sept. 17th in Belleville and October 15th in Brantford. The Elite Stops will have Girls and Boys U15 & U17 competitions and Club Stops will have U14, U16 & U18 Girls and Boys Divisions. This year there will be five tournaments part of the Fall 7s series, culminating with the Rugby Ontario Junior 7s competition in Barrie on October 22nd - October 23rd.

“After a full return to the summer season in 2022, we are excited to be back in full swing for the 2022 Fall 7s Series as well. The series is a great chance for kids to keep rugby balls in their hands after the summer season” said Mark Kellington, Manager, Competition & Events.

Fall 7s Series Schedule:

September 11th -TIRF 7s, Eglinton Flats, Toronto

September 17th & 18th - Belleville 7s, Mary Ann Sills, Belleville 

  • Saturday: Elite (U15 & U17)
  • Sunday: Club (U14, U16 & U18)
  • Register Team

September 25th - Whitu 7s, Twin Elm Rugby Park, Ottawa

October 15th & 16th - Bellwether 7s, Harlequins RFC, Brantford

  • Saturday: Elite (U15 & U17)
  • Sunday: Club (U14, U16 & U18)
  • Register Team

October 22nd & 23rd - Junior 7s, Barrie Sports Complex, Barrie.

  • Saturday: U16 & U18 Girls
  • Sunday: U16 & U18 Boys
  • Register TBD
