Canada’s Men’s U18 head coach Mike Curran has named his starting XV for Friday’s Rugby Europe U18 Open Championships opener against Georgia in Quimper, France.
Tyler Rowland will captain the team while Will McDougall-Percillier and Joshua Engelbrecht are named vice-captains.
Jackson Scott, Callum Tam and Rowland occupy the front row for Canada while Reid Davis and Lodrik Parlavecchio start at lock.
Quentin James, Piers Von Dadelszen and Dean Mason form Canada’s back row.
McDougall-Percillier starts at scrum-half while Jack Scher gets the nod at fly-half. James Newman and Kevin Vertkas start in the centres with Corben Bowen and Sam Sirlin on the wings. Ottawa’s Gabriel Casey starts at fullback.
